"Projek Kolaborasi Pengeluar Kenderaan Sempena Ulang Tahun ke-55 Tomica" ialah sebuah projek impian di mana lima pengeluar kenderaan – Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, dan Suzuki Motor Corporation – bekerjasama dengan meminta para pereka dari setiap syarikat, yang biasanya terlibat dalam reka bentuk kereta sebenar, untuk menghasilkan reka bentuk istimewa sempena ulang tahun ke-55 khusus untuk Tomica.

Setiap syarikat telah mengadakan pertandingan dalaman untuk memilih reka bentuk yang paling sesuai dengan model Tomica paling popular.

Kenderaan sebenar yang dihias dengan reka bentuk ini juga akan dipamerkan di pelbagai acara.

[Tomica 55th Anniversary Automobile Manufacturer Collaboration Project] Launched!
[Nissan Fairlady Z NISMO Tomica 55th Anniversary Edition] is now available!

The "Tomica 55th Anniversary Automobile Manufacturer Collaboration Project" is a dream project in which five automobile manufacturers, Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Suzuki Motor Corporation, are working together to ask designers from each company who normally work on the design of actual cars to come up with a special 55th anniversary design just for "Tomica."
Each company held an in-house competition to determine a design that would suit the most popular Tomica vehicle.
Actual vehicles decorated with each design will also be appearing at various events.
