The Tomica 55th Anniversary Automobile Manufacturer Collaboration Project is a dream project in which five automobile manufacturers, Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Suzuki Motor Corporation, cooperate to have designers from each company who are usually in charge of designing actual cars come up with a special 55th anniversary design just for Tomica.
Each company held an in-house competition to select a design that would suit one of Tomica's most popular vehicles.
Actual vehicles decorated with each design will also be appearing at various events.
